His Excellency Manish Manish, High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Cyprus, visited CL8’s Tier III-certified data centre in Limassol and met with the company’s founder, management team and engineers.
During the meeting, CL8 presented an overview of its operations, facilities and services, followed by a tour of its carrier-neutral data centre and its planned expansion capacity.
The discussion included the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor, an international initiative intended to strengthen transport, digital and energy links between India, the Middle East and Europe.
Cyprus’s location at the eastern edge of the European Union was also considered. Its position, EU membership and links with neighbouring regions can support Indian companies seeking a base for activities within the European market.
The meeting also covered the potential for stronger links between Cyprus’s technology sector and the Indian business community, particularly in relation to digital infrastructure, international business activity and access to European markets.
The visit concluded with a tour of CL8’s facilities and a meeting with members of the company’s management and engineering teams.
