CL8 miCloud VDC enables customers to deploy fully functional virtual data centers on CL8 cloud infrastructure.

The platform is built on a hyperconverged architecture based on OpenStack, combining KVM-based virtualization, software-defined storage, and software-defined networking into a unified environment.

Unlike VPS, resources are not predefined per virtual machine. Instead, compute, storage, and networking are allocated at the environment level and can be adjusted dynamically, allowing workloads to scale based on actual demand.

The networking layer supports isolated virtual networks, distributed routing, load balancing, and VPN capabilities, enabling the design of multi-tier architectures that include both private and public-facing services.

Storage is delivered through a distributed software-defined system supporting block, file, and object storage, optimized for performance and resilience.

The platform includes built-in high availability features such as live migration and automated workload distribution, ensuring continuity in case of infrastructure failures.

Customers can manage all resources through a self-service portal with full control over provisioning, configuration, and operations
