Chief Scientist of Research and Innovation Foundation visits CL8
The Chief Scientist of Research and Innovation Foundation, Mr. Kyriacos Kokkinos, has recently visited the premises of CL8 in Limassol. Mr. Kokkinos had the opportunity to present and discuss various issues related to research and innovation in Cyprus. CL8 presented the range of services and products offered to its clientele and the visit was completed with a brief tour of the Data Centre.
The infrastructure of the Data Center as well as the security and compliance practices followed by CL8, impressed Mr. Kokkinos mostly.
Mr. Kokkinos commented: “I would like to express my sincere appreciation and thanks for arranging the visit at CL8 premises and for having the team presenting the company, their vision and passion for CL8. I am impressed by the innovativeness, determination ‘to make it happen’ and professionalism of the team.
Mr Economides, Chairman and CEO of CL8, thanked Mr. Kokkinos for his personal interest in CL8’s business and infrastructure. He concluded by saying that the target of CL8 is to place Cyprus on the worldwide Data Center map and provide its services to the private and the government sector alike.
