Mr. George Komodromos, Director of Department of Electronic Communications of the Ministry of Transports, Communications and Work visited CL8.com on 6th July 2018. During the meeting, CL8.com presented its range of services and products offered to its clientele. The visit was completed with a brief tour of the Data Centre. CL8.com is the first independent, carrier neutral, state of the art Tier III Data Center in Cyprus. Mr. Komodromos commented: “The Government welcomes the creation of reliable Data Centers in Cyprus in the context of its efforts to promote and use ICT technologies. Beyond serving national needs, Data Centers can also be used with a wider approach to serve our neighbouring countries, making Cyprus a telecommunication hub of the region. That is why the Government encourages and supports various initiatives aimed at drastically reducing the cost of local and international broadband connections”.
